Company Evolution
1973
Index Interfurn Co., Ltd was found by Mr. Pisith Patamasatayasonthi, President and CEO, as a manufacturer and distributor of household steel furniture.
1985-1989
Index Interfurn Co., Ltd starts their first step to the global market
in the brand name “Winner”. Then, the company expands its business
and increases their product variety by setting up the subsidiaries
starts from Two
Way Intertrade Co., Ltd. as the exporter
of Household accessories, Bangkok
Cabinet Co., Ltd. as the manufacturer of
particle board and MDF and Bangkok
Furnitech Co., Ltd. as the manufacturer of
steel furniture.
1990-1995
Bangkok Ai-Toa
Co., Ltd. was setting up as the joint venture
with Iwatani International Corporation Public Co., Ltd to being
as the manufacturer of steel pipe and wire ware product. At the
same year, Bangkok
Casa Co., Ltd. was established as the wholesaler
for the strong and prestigious brand name “Winner” and “Index”.
Years later, Index Livingmall
Co., Ltd. was found as the retailer of “Trend
Design”-imported furniture and “Logica”- Office Furniture to focus
on the middle to upper class customers as well as “Index” and “Winner”-
Household Furniture. Then, Bangkok
Sanyo Spring Co., Ltd. was established
as the joint venture with Sanyo Hatsijo Co., Ltd and in this year,
Bangkok Business Management Co.,
Ltd. was setting up as the human resource
management center of the group.
1996-1999
The group has won the several of Prime
minister Export Award’s from the Department
of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce for the Distinctive Development
& Marketing of Thai
owned Brand (1996) and Thai
owned Design (1998) Also in this year, the
group starts to expand Index Furniture Center (IFC) to oversea
market to strengthen the brand name status.
2000-2002
Index Interfurn Co., Ltd has expanded its plants known as Index
Interfurn Co., Ltd. (Ekachai Branch).
After this, Bangkok
Home plus Co., Ltd, the mattress and sofa
manufacturing under the brand “Index“ and “Serta” and Bangkok
Master Wood Co., Ltd, the solid rubber wood
and wood veneer-finished manufacturer was established.
2003-2005
“Index Living
Mall”-the largest furniture and household
decorative products center in Bangkok has been open with the idea
to serve the growth of demand property and its concerning product.
And again, the group has won the Prime Minister Export Award for
Outstanding Performance as the Best
Exporter (2003), for Export
Honorary Recognition (2004) and For Distinctive
Development & Marketing of Thai
own Design (2005) also, “Winner” has been
honored and awarded “Super
brand” status
by Super Brand Thailand.
2006
Index Interfurn Co., Ltd has been honor to award the Tiff
2006 Export Awards recognizing excellence
in design & export potential in the category of Outstanding
Bedroom design and the Best
upholstery which jointly organized and presented
by Department of Export promotion (DEP, Thailand) and Furniturenews,
the UK’s leading monthly publication for retailers. |
